What is included in the room price?

The price includes:

  • overnight stay
  • buffet breakfast
  • a beach place per room, which includes an umbrella and two sunbeds (also for triple / quadruple) – Only for bookings on our direct website.
  • one parking space per room in one of our car parks
  • air conditioning
  • safe
  • Wi-fi access

What is NOT included in the room rate?

The prices do not include the tourist tax and further increases in legal taxes that may be introduced during the year.

If you booked on a site other than our direct one, the beach place is not included.

All consumptions or additional services such as cot, pets and more are not included.
On the day of departure, for those wishing to stay after check-out time (subject to availability to be verified on site), the beach and parking have an additional cost.

Rooms

Is it possible to have separate beds?

Only in some room categories it is possible, please make this request when booking.

Do all rooms have a bidet?

No, some rooms do not have a bidet.

Are baby cots available?

Yes, they are available at extra cost. Please note that not all rooms have the space needed to add a cot.

Are there connecting rooms?

No.

Shower or bath?

All our rooms have a shower box.

Do you have rooms for smokers?

In our hotel it is NOT allowed to smoke in the rooms, only on the balconies.

Are all the rooms accessible by lift?

No. Some room categories (e.g. triple / quadruple rooms) also require the use of a flight or two of stairs.

Do you have rooms for disabled people?

We have 3 disabled-friendly rooms, they are double rooms for a maximum of 2 people in the Superior lateral category. Some other categories are more spacious than others or with space under the sink to get close to.

Arrival

What time can I arrive at the hotel?

Arrival at the hotel is possible at any time, although it is recommended to arrive from 2 pm onwards (check-in time) to make sure you have all the services available immediately and not have to wait.
In case of arrival before this time, we cannot guarantee that you will already have space in the car park and on the beach. The room is always guaranteed from 2 pm.
For organizational reasons, please inform us if you arrive after 7 pm.

Do you have a reserved parking space? Does it have a cost?

There is the possibility to park the car 500 meters from the hotel for free. We provide the cards for entry to the reception with a deposit of EUR 20.-, which we will return to you upon check-out, upon its return.

The available car parks are suitable for normal-sized cars, therefore any other type of vehicle (for example: minivans, vans, pick-ups, campers, etc. ) requires a special reserved place and therefore a supplement ranging from 8 to €10 / per day, depending on the space occupied by the vehicle in question. This is assessed on site by the car park with which we collaborate and cannot be decided or taken over by the hotel.

Directly in the Hotel there are a limited number of unbookable parking spaces. FOR EXTRA PAYMENT

What time is check-in?

Check-in is from 2.00 pm,  from this time room, beach place and parking are guaranteed.

Departure

What time should I leave the room on the day of departure?

The room must be vacated by 10 am.

How can I pay on departure?

The following payment methods are accepted: cash (with limit as required by law), Bancomat, EC Card,
Maestro, Visa, MasterCard.
Instead, cash payment is required for the tourist tax.
If I have already paid for the room online, will I have to pay anything else on departure?
The tourist tax must be paid in cash at the hotel.

If I have already paid for the room online, will I have to pay more on departure?

The city tax is to be paid at the hotel, in cash.

Is it possible to request a late check-out?

It is possible to request late check-out only on site and subject to availability to be checked on the day of
departure. A surcharge applies.

Can I keep the beach and parking for the day if I vacate the room?

At the time of check-out we can gladly check their availability. In this case a small supplement will be applied.

Booking conditions

On which site is it better to book?

We recommend booking directly on our website www.columbia-ninfea.com/en/ to find the best rates and the most advantageous booking / cancellation conditions. Other booking sites have different and not as convenient booking conditions. Furthermore, only on our site is the beach place included in the price.

What is the difference between a cancelable and a non-refundable rate?

The normal rate is more flexible because it provides for a free cancellation up to 3 days (or 5 in July / August) before arrival (by 4.00 pm). For any cancellations or changes that occur after, the penalty to be paid is 30% (Or 50% in case of no show).
The non-refundable rate, on the other hand, is designed for those who are sure of their holidays, it provides a discount that is already applied compared to the cancellable rate. However, the full amount must be paid at the time of booking by bank transfer. This rate does not provide for cancellation or modification of the
reservation, against the discount applied.

What do I need to book?

For reservations made on our official website or directly by mail and telephone, we require a credit card as a guarantee or a deposit by bank transfer. In the case of a non-refundable rate, the full amount must be paid and this is requested by bank transfer. By guarantee card we mean that the card can be charged in cases of no arrival (no show), late cancellation or unpaid extras at check out.

Will I receive a confirmation email?

Yes, those who book on our direct site immediately receive an automatically generated confirmation email. For telephone bookings it is possible to request written confirmation by email.

Cancellation policy

Can I cancel my reservation for free?

It depends on where the booking was made and at what rate.
If the reservation was made directly (our website, telephone, email) for the normal rate, free cancellation is valid up to 3 days (or 5 in July / August) before arrival (by 4.00 pm), while for the non-refundable rate there is no free cancellation or refund, against the discount applied at the time of booking. It is not even possible to use the deposit for other stays.

If I don’t arrive (no show) do I have to pay?

It would be courtesy to notify the hotel if for any reason it is no longer possible to arrive. In these cases, 50% of the total is to be paid for the normal rate. This amount will be charged to the card as a guarantee or withholding of the deposit paid. In the case of non-refundable bookings, the full amount will be retained and it will not be possible to use the deposit for other stays.

If I cancel within the correct deadline and have paid a deposit, will it be returned to me?

Yes, this applies to regular rate bookings. Obviously, the cancellation must take place within the terms
indicated at the time of booking. In this case, the deposit will be returned by bank transfer.
Non-refundable rates cannot be refunded.

Services

Is parking included? Where is it?

There is the possibility to park the car 500 meters from the hotel. We provide the cards for entry to the

There are other parking spaces directly in the Hotel, however they are few and cannot be booked, subject to availability you can also park here – EXTRA PAYMENT.

Do you accept pets? Are there any rules?

Only small pets are allowed in the hotel. Bring a blanket / kennel and food for your little friends. Supplement of EUR 15.00 per day.
The municipal administration informs that access to the beach for dogs and other pets is allowed only on the paved public path (promenade) which is located upstream of the sandy area. The use of a leash and a muzzle are mandatory for dogs.

Beach place, what does it include?

The price includes the beach place with an umbrella and two sun loungers per room – even for triple or
quadruple rooms – (for reservations made on our direct website). Each umbrella is equipped with a small safe that can be opened with a bracelet that you can ask for at the reception (with a deposit of € 5.-). It is possible to request an additional sunbed, for the same assigned place, directly on the beach from the relevant lifeguard (to pay extra).

Is it possible to book a specific row on the beach in advance?

An umbrella with 2 sunbeds per room is included (for reservations made on our direct website), it is possible to accommodate every request based on availability on arrival. We already inform you that the first row is the only one that requires the payment of an extra.

Do you offer a bicycle rental service?

Bike rental is available, they have a small cost of € 1.50 per hour.

Do you have beach towels? Do they have a cost?

We rent beach towels for € 5 per piece.

Do you have gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian or vegan products?

We have a small quantity of gluten-free packaged products for breakfast, which are not displayed as a buffet, please ask our staff.
For other types of intolerances we kindly ask you to notify us at the time of booking.
